Kyoto and and mt.fuji
so, yeh i should've updated this a couple of days ago but, yeh, here we go
so last saturday, we went to Kyoto. We went and kinkaku-ji(golden temple) wich is really famous even outside of japan. It was really hot and humid and so many bugs, but i was really cool. i got some neat photos, go to my myspace if you wanna check em out. but we went and had tea at an old fashioned japanese tea house, traditional green tea is very thivk snd bitter, but i tried it none the less. afterward, we went and bought good luck chams, i got one for successful school work and dreams come true. then i bought my fortune, wich was "excellent".Yay!
after that we went to kiyomizu-dera, wich is another temple. very famous, kyoto is full of famous temples. when i was walking up to kiyomizu, i saw a girl with a BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT parisol, i was so excited, i love japan, they have BABY here....
lol, so back on topic....kiyomizu was amazing, the main deck is really high up, and the temple is on a mountain side in a reqally old deeep forest, the veiw was amazing. there were the roofs of toher temples poking out of the trees and stuff . KAeti and baily would've really enjoyed it.
Kiyomizu literally translates into "pure water". the entire reaosn the temple was built was because there was spring the that gused pure clean drinking water from the mountain side. they have a bunch of little fountains and and stuff where they let people drink and cool themselves of with this pure water.
later we saw a maiko, wich is a geisha in training. she was really pretty.
all in all kyoto was amazing, mabey if my friends come and visit, i'll take them there, It'd be sweet, sweet like sweden.
so yeh, a couple days later, on tuesday, we went on a bus trip to Mt.Fuji. we didn't actually go to the mountain, we just sorta drove around it.it was still fun. though we spent alot of time at overpriced tourist traps. that was annoying
well, thats all for now
